‘Shine Love Glow’ is the first new single from the Danish rockband in two years and it the first to be released from the forthcoming debutalbum.

After having released the experimental and uncompromising EPs ‘Thank You Brother Star’ (2015) and ‘In The Great Dark Between The Stars’ (2016) the Copenhagen based quartet Electric Elephants have developed into a super crisp, spaced out, psychedelic rock monster. Their live performance is filled with confidence that comes pouring out from the stage and speakers.

With the charismatic Mads Riiskjaer Jaurnow in front as both drummer AND lead vocalist the band is currently on tour in DK supporting The Van and has previously supported Dizzy Mizz Lizzy.

In the last half of 2017 the band signed a record deal for G/S/A with the renowned German label Motor, while at the same time spending time in the studio recording new songs which they will finish during the summer.

On the new single ‘Shine Love Glow’ the band shows us that grunge is not forgotten, but indeed resurrected in an exciting new wrapping that nods towards Alice In Chains and Incubus. The song was originally written as an acoustic ballad, but it just turned into a biting beast of a rocksong in the studio. It is the first time the band has worked from a Sgt. Pepper approach and not letting themselves be limited by how many people was needed to play the song live.

David Fricke (Rolling Stone Magazine, SiriusXM) has been a fan of the band since he first saw them on SPOT Festival 2016. This year the band returns to SPOT and will be playing at the Celebration Records Dayparty, Friday May 11th at the former Double Rainbow near Godsbanen.
